Welp. What have I been up to for the past month (and year I guess)~?
For one thing, I've finally been getting more hours at my job (previously had hours taken away for a long period of time because my manager can be an inconsiderate jerk), so I'm able to spend on things I shouldn't be wasting my money on, lol. There are good things I've done with my money too: I bought a flat screen tv (instead of that heavy, bulky, fat-back tv I used to have), finally got myself a new bed (sofa/bed to be exact, and it's Freakin' Awesome X3 Gives me more room in my room), a new 6-drawer dresser is on its way soon (hopefully today~♪), and I recently started my credit (better late than never I suppose
), so I can finally buy my first car (don't care how crappy it looks, as long as it runs).
Also, I don't think many people (if any) know (especially from my lack of updates) that I'm actually a license Phlebotomist (or CPT I (Certified Phlebotomy Technician I))
, which means I'm licensed (in the medical field (obviously)) to draw a person's blood. I wish I could say that I've been working toward finding a job, but like an idiot, I haven't done shit..
I'd like to say, I'm going to be more determined to find a job now, but I think I need to get my priorities straighten out first. In order for me to get a job as a Phlebotomist, they're gunna want to know that I have a car and can travel from clinic/hospital branch to branch, if need be; so I'm determined to get myself a well running car (which I'll be saving money for) and in order to do that, I need good credit (which I'm currently working on now). So everything's a work in progress. I would've liked to get a job in Phlebotomy sooner, but thinking about all the thing I have to do before that stresses my out, and as I've recently learned, I don't handle stress well because when I get stressed, I get overly stressed and when i get overly stressed, I end up forgetting about it and distracting myself instead of handling it.
I know all of you must've already gone through these sort of things/stresses in your past; but for me it's kinda new, so wish me luck with all of this~ And just because I'll be focusing on getting a car, that doesn't mean I'll forget about looking for Phlebotomy job openings~ I'm mainly going to be doing a little more research on what kind of job I can get as a starting Phlebotomist.
Well, that's my small recap for today/this month. I hope everyone's been having a great month (February/March) so far; let me know how it went if you'd like to share in the comments and I'll do my best to respond to every one, with a (hopefully) quick response. As for me drawing, don't worry, that still goes on; I just need to finish up that coloring on one and it'll be up soon enough~♪ Now I'm off to get ready for working today~! Respond to you all laterz~♫
